Warranty Terms
LyconSys grants 2 years warranty for all LyconSys products (from date of purchase). This warranty covers all material defects of the devices that are demonstrably due to material or manufacturing defects. It is provided by replacement delivery of a fault-free device or by free repair of the returned device at our choice, provided the following conditions are met:
- The device has been handled properly and in accordance with the recommendations in the user manuals and this wiki.
- Neither the buyer nor a third party has attempted to repair the device.
This manufacturer’s warranty does not affect the statutory warranty claims against the dealer/seller.
In case of warranty, please send the defective device together with a copy of the purchase receipt and a fault description to:

After repair we will return the device to you free of charge.
Limitation of Liability and Warranty
To the extent permitted by law, any further liability and/or alternative warranty remedies or warranty services are excluded by us. Commercial operators have no claim for loss of earnings.
The devices are maintenance-free. Opening the enclosure voids any warranty. Repairs may only be carried out by authorised qualified personnel. Any warranty is void in case of unauthorised intervention. Improper use, failure to observe this documentation, use of inadequately qualified personnel and unauthorised modifications exclude the manufacturer’s liability for resulting damage.
Limitation of Liability
Claims for damages are excluded unless they are based on intent or gross negligence of LyconSys GmbH & Co. KG or its employees. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
We are not liable under any circumstances for:
- Claims asserted against you by third parties due to losses or damage.
- Loss or damage to your records or data or the costs of recovering this data.
- Economic consequential damage (including lost profits or savings) or incidental damage, even if LyconSys GmbH & Co. KG employees have been informed of the possibility of such damage.
Under no circumstances is LyconSys GmbH & Co. KG responsible for any incidental, indirect, special, consequential or other damage of any kind (including, without limitation, damage regarding loss of profit, business interruption, loss of business information or any other losses) arising from the use of LyconSys devices or in any connection with the devices, whether based on contract, damages, negligence, strict liability or other claims, even if LyconSys GmbH & Co. KG has been informed in advance of the possibility of such damage.
This exclusion also includes any liability arising from claims by third parties against the original purchaser.
In some countries, the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage is not permitted by law, so the above statement does not apply.
Export Notes
LyconSys products are subject to European/German and/or US export regulations. Any export or re-export requiring approval therefore requires the consent of the competent authorities.

Note: The above export list positions were compiled by LyconSys for information purposes to the best of our knowledge and belief and should be used for the classification of LyconSys products for export together with the export regulations. Exporters of LyconSys products are responsible for compliance with all trade regulations including export regulations and rely on this information at their own responsibility and risk.
Disposal Information (WEEE)
Electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste (symbol: crossed-out wheeled bin). LyconSys products must be handled in accordance with the WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU). Old equipment can be returned to LyconSys or handed in at municipal collection points. Proper disposal ensures recycling of valuable raw materials and avoidance of environmental damage.
Please dispose of the devices at the end of their useful life in accordance with the disposal regulations in force at the place of installation at that time. You can also return the devices to us at your expense for proper disposal.
